蘇子涵Su TzuHan
1984生於台北,就讀於高雄師範大學美術創作所,2014年於新苑藝術發表《蘇黎市》個展,四十件清透的系列作品,承現巧妙的物理層次,構築她眼中容納多元詮釋的現實世界。2014年蘇子涵甫獲亞洲創意大獎入選獎,受國際評審團隊肯定,2015年赴波蘭華沙lokal30展覽空間,和金澤21世紀美術館,代表亞洲當代藝術的一角參與主題交流展。
今年新苑藝術將於Art Stage Singapore 2016展出蘇子涵個展,邀請您一同關注。

《海平面下》
我認為空間,是處在各種位置會有不同的觀看面貌,平時難以察覺,只能透過不同的思考才能夠觀看得到。在日常中,我們所面對的那些生活空間,其背後又有哪些面貌是我們未曾注意到的?居住在社區中,雖然周遭空間是美好的樣貌,但實質上,我們生活空間也被壓縮了。在《蘇黎市》系列的作品裡想表達的是,如果居住在這個空間會是美好的與理想的,那麼這空間所呈現出的美好與理想又來自於哪裡?在夜裡,城市裡的燈光是具有魅力與想像的,建築物上的紅燈是一種帶有存在感的象徵意涵,在《高處》這系列作品裡所投影出來的影像是水晶般的光澤,影子上的紅色燈光又讓人無法不去注視它的存在。《呼吸人》這件作品是《城市人》的延伸,將城市人那無法察覺的呼吸狀態,轉為城市中那些人們習以為常的燈光符號。
《蘇黎市》
一個擁有異國情調的名字。
一個不論在何處都是用的名字,
一個部會因為當地的地理環境而遭受質疑,質疑它的存在是否適合此地或是改變它。
《高處》
城市的燈光,除了照亮城市角落外,同時也散發著引人聯想的魅力與透露出繁榮的訊息。當我從遠處觀看時,最吸引我目光的,是大樓頂上那閃耀的紅光,這份閃爍的光源,我私自想像著它是城市建築的心臟節拍,使我不得不去注視它的閃耀。
《呼吸人》
城市的燈光閃爍,代表著城市在夜晚仍然運轉不休,因此城市裡的燈光被我解讀成一種象徵城市存在的隱性發聲方式。呼吸人是《城市人》的延伸,燈光的閃爍是一種呼吸的節拍。
《Under the Sea》
Space, according to the way of our observing, can be shown totally different appearance to us. Usually, it is difficult to recognize that, unless you change another point of view to face the space. In our live, what are appearances that we did not noticed on the other side of our daily living space. Living in a designing community space is wonderful. The landscape is beautiful, nevertheless, it also squeezes your living space. 《Surich》, in this series of works, I want to express a notion about that, if living in a designing community space is wonderful, so what the reasons make us to believe it? In the evening, the lights in the city are charming and imaginative. The red lights on the building represent a kind of implication about the existence. In the《 The highest》, the projection of this work has the crystal luster. In its shadow, the red lights have some kind of irresistible magic attract your attention. 《Breather》is the extended work of 《City people》. In this work, the unconscious respiratory status of city people are transformed into the light symbols that we have been accustomed in the city.
《Surich-The City in Fantasy》
A name with exotic atmosphere,suitable for any places,
unquestionable for its geographical environment.
No doubt could be put on it as to the right place and no force could change it.
《The highest》
The lights in the city are not only charming and imaginative but also light up the city. They are the prosperous symbol of the city. When I am watching the city from far away, the thing most attracts me is the red lights flashed on the building. In privately, I fantasize they are the beating of the city, and this fantasy also lets me could not avert my eyes from their shining.
《Breather》
The shine of lights in the city represents city is still working. For me, the lights in the city can be interpreted to an unconscious respiratory status, as a symbol for the existence of city. 《Breather》is the extended work of 《City people》, it shines and flashes just like a kind of beat of the breath for the city people.
